CALL FOR SCORES 2018

Sound Riot is proud to announce their second annual call for scores! Submissions will be considered for programming and recordings in the 2018/2019 season.

Please read the guidelines before submitting any questions.

Requirements:

+ Only works for the instrumentations listed below will be considered (no bass clarinet, electronics, or prepared instruments) 

+ Submissions must include transposed parts and a short bio. No files larger than 2048 KB

+ Recording is preferred but not required (midi renderings accepted)

+ One submission email per composer will be considered, but more than one piece may be included in the email

+ There is no entry fee

Eligibility:

+ Composers of all ages, experience levels and genres are welcome to submit

+ Composers in the USA and abroad are welcome to submit

+ We do not and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations

**Please Note: There is no guaranteed prize because this is not a competition. Think of it as a proposal. If your piece is selected, we will discuss appropriate compensation for you, and a short exclusivity agreement for us. If it will not be possible for us to program your piece, we will let you know as soon as possible. If we would like to schedule a performance of your piece right away, we will contact you as soon as possible. If we like your piece but are unsure of when we might be able to program it (or we would like to save it for the following season), we will hold on to your submission and keep you posted as things develop. Please be patient with us!
